Toledo firefighters had their hands full with this vacant house
fire. It happened on Blum Street near Elizabeth in Toledo's central city
around 1:00 pm Wednesday afternoon. The first crews on the scene called for
additional equipment to help keep the blaze from spreading to nearby
occupied houses.
This accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, at the
intersection of Douglas & Eastbrook in West Toledo. According to police, the
driver was westbound on Eastbrook when she jumped the curb, hit a tree and
flipped over. The driver received only minor injuries.
